Yayness open house is finally over, dun have to worry about knowing travel routes or making videos anymore!
I think the turnout today was actually quite poor, what with RI having common tests, and schs like HC holding their own open houses on the same day. Rawr steal our customers will you!? Anyway haha it was quite obvious that the number of befrienders > number of befriended, so ppl had to fill in at the amphi during performances, otherwise it'd have looked quite sparse.
I found out that it's quite tiring having to shuttle to and fro between befriender booth and shooting booth. Everyone looking so sian since there was no one to introduce shooting to. Haiz all the girls worked so hard on the souvenoirs and decorations, in the end not many ppl came down to admire! NVM NVM! the process more impt than the product! Right right? ^^
Yeap yeap so basically was running around bringing ppl on tours and answering their questions when i could, but mostly just ferrying goodie bags from the raffles rooms to the booths. Then Wil had this fine idea to use wooden poles to ferry the bags. OMG genius. Pity he had to break his hp screen. Haiz good people always the ones to suffer.
I consider myself quite lucky to have gotten like 3 tour groups, mostly parents, coz when i talked to eme's friends (zhi ying and xiao ting i think) they told me that some ppl avoided them like the plague, as tho they were trying to harrass them. LOL can there be such a thing as being over-friendly? Dunno dunno hmmm
Whee and i danced like 4 times, 3 of which were totally unnecessary but i had to coz otherwise all that preparation would've been for nothing and i would've been so sore at myself. I suppose thats why my arms are still aching now ><
And after everything, we got together and celebrated ian wern and lulu's bday! Hooray finally the bday presents and gifts were long overdue! I like how leonard for all his talk cant even draw the middle finger properly. Thing looks like a paw -.- Haven eaten blueberry cheese cake in like forever the taste is like heaven! ^^ Bad for the diet i know but good for the soul.
And i prolly can't put open house behind me without talking about all my new friends. Haha junyang who's from lala's class is like hanging around ever more often and he's a really nice guy, helping us carry goodie bags and all. Thanks to onyee who was my (damn pro) dance partner, thanks for leading and looking over my screw ups. To Alison for her gosu dance performance (body wave woo!), and Xiao Ting and Zhi Ying for introing themselves to me and chatting.
