Raise Dead! Yes, after being dead for so many months, I am raising this blog from the dead. Just bored and nothing to do, so decided to post briefly what happened over the past few months. Well, NanoSquirrel(heh), despite my previous experiences in UG, is a culture shock for me, and till now, I have more or less got used to it. Learnt a lot of interpersonal skills and politics from it, so I guess it kind of prepares for my future (and gives 2 years of buffer period before uni, so it isn't as stressful for me compared to the girls on uni apps)

I am only going to cover in brief for fear of revealing any... sensitive info. In basic training, I learnt how to face disappointment, and for the physical aspect, got fitter. Lost 10kg! Haha, so for girls who want to lose weight, join the army! Also got used to the weekend only life, which is going to last for the next 1 year 4 months (around there). In spec course, I learnt to get dirty, and don't complain so much! I guess those complaining can get on people's nerve. Put up with people (quite a few) whom were not *very* enjoyable, and I am glad it is behind me. Through this course, I also come to realise how blessed I am, as no matter where I am, someone will be taking care of me (and still is, for which I am eternally grateful). Ended up in signals, which I didn't expect to, due to the small number allocated per cohort, guess that's another sign that God has been taking care of me. Now in good company, and enjoying it there (maybe that might change after Endurance LOL).

Looking back, I still think that Nanosquirrel has more pro than cons. It has also help me appreciate freedom and how much my family mean to me. Have to run, my time is up. Have to go back to you know where. Will try to post as much as possible.

Matt.
