I apologise for the lack of posts. I have been posting in my other blog.

Today, when I picked up the newspaper, and guess what is the first thing I saw? GST being raised by the PAP, AGAIN. So, they expect that the increase in tax to help the poor more, and stating that other countries have much higher GST or value-added tax or whatever it is. Other countries have higher GST and such, but the trick is that, food and other necessarities are exempted from tax. When they raise the damned tax, those hawker centers, grocery stores will also raise their price accordingly. How is this going to help the poor? It is a wonder why poor people still vote for those guys -_-

Let me suggest a much better way to help the poor. Just cut those Members of Parliament (MPs) salary. You would be surprised at how high their salary is. The Prime Minister's salary alone is more than that of President Bush from the USA.

Why didn't they mention this tax increase before elections? As I had mentioned to many people before, they will probably raise tax or take away some benefits after the election. See what happens. And guess what, when the next election comes along, they will give us some stupid bonus, or some free shares to "bribe" the people. And oh, not to mention the defamation of some opposition politican. Francis Seow, Chee Soon Juan, Gomez... I wonder who is next. This has been going on for years now. I guess you can expect the same old thing for the next elections.

My rant will stop here. Still have some mugging to do >_>
